The American Social Justice PAC was formed to create an avenue by which to deliver advertising to voters who may not otherwise be aware of the candidacy of Cornel West for President of the United States. The ASJP seeks to raise $1 million to advertise to voters in the State of Georgia between October 1 and November 5, 2024 and $1 million to advertise to voters in Michigan during the same time period.
Historically, Georgia has had a high barrier of entry for third party candidates and political parties other than Democrat, Republican and Libertarian. That changed in 2024, when Georgia reduced the number of signatures required to be placed on the Presidential ballot.
Contributions to the ASJP will be used to place targeted advertising to African American voters, voters registered on college campuses, voters in communities of color which vote Democrat over 80% and voters under the age of 25. The advertising will consist of positive messaging and awareness of Cornel West and his unique positions on immigration, the war in Gaza, women’s rights, reproductive freedom and LGTBQIA+ issues.
